To All Our Festival Friends:

For the past few years, the Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival has been operating on a broken shoestring, yet providing an annual weekend of traditional maritime music, song and stories, all of which has been free and open to the public. It is our intention to continue this practice this year, and in the future. We are allowed to do this because of your generosity as well as that of local merchants and business folk. This is also made possible by the generosity of a crew of fine singers and performers who have given of their art for sometimes little more than the cost of gasoline to and from the festival. We need to do better by these good folk, and your continued donations will make this a reality.

As in the past, our loyal team of volunteers will be handling the donations buckets and you will be able to make cash donations at all festival venues. You may also purchase CDs by many of the musicians, with all proceeds going to the artists.

The Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization registered in the state of New Hampshire. You can make a contribution to the Festival by sending a check to:

Donations can also be made via PayPal by directing a contribution to: pmff@comcast.net. This very simple donation method requires only that you have a credit or debit card and an e-mail address. Go to the PayPal website and select the “Send Money” tab.
